10 CANNOTS

William J. H. Boetcker (1873-1962) published a pamphlet in 1916, which has subsequently been falsely attributed to Abraham Lincoln, entitled The Ten Cannots. 

This is as aposite now as it was then and is clearly completely unheard of or at best foolishly ignored by The EU on a near 100% basis, let us remind the world of these self evident facts which are more obvious in the failure of leaders to understand or impliment them and clearly more important as statements of fact than the decalogue of Exodus & Deuteronomy.

Judge for yourself -

Here are The Ten Cannots:

1. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
2. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
3. You cannot help little men by tearing down big men.
4. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
5. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
6. You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.
7. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
8. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.
9. You cannot build character and courage by destroying men’s initiative and independence.
10. And you cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.

It is I believe apposite to consider these points, not only on an ongoing basis relative to the many and obvious failures of The EU but also today more importantly in the light of George Osborne's upcoming budget for these United Kingdoms and its need to jump through the hoops determined by our misguided membership of the corrupt EU!

The decalogue of Exodus & Deuteronomy are in comparison merely tribal laws for adherents of a given superstition and founded in desires and claimed ethics, contrived by those same adherants, rather than clear facts as put forward by William J.H. Boetcker, which are hard to fault.
